Trustee Melissa DeWitt moved to adopt the budget and the reserve disclosure; the motion passed unanimously. The minutes do not list the district's total general fund budget figure in the meeting record.
The board's action fulfills the statutory requirement to include reserve information in budget submissions to the county superintendent of schools. No public comments were offered during the adoption. The district will file the adopted budget and reserve disclosure with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools as required by law.
