At its April 22 meeting the Richland Governing Board approved a broad consent calendar that included warrant registers, purchase orders, payroll, minutes from March 10, field trip requests (including an Aquarium of the Pacific trip for Migrant Extended Day scholars), contract renewals (Frontline, EDJOIN, Edlio), Interquest canine services and a large set of board policies and administrative regulations.
The board also approved a Theatre Teacher job description funded through Proposition 28, accepted interdistrict attendance agreements covering 27 transfer requests (14 leaving the district; 13 entering), and in closed session approved multiple public‑employee appointments and the public‑employee discipline/dismissal/release item. Item 4.5.2 (superintendent appointment and contract) was removed from the agenda and tabled because the contract could not be finalized prior to the meeting. The board adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
