Board approves replacement of failing document cameras and refresh of program iPads

Technology Director Robert Stout told trustees the document cameras are failing and repairs were not cost‑effective; staff recommended replacement under CMAS Contract #3 24‑05‑1014 and the board accepted BDJ Tech's bid. Stout also recommended refreshing iPads used by ELOP and ASES because the devices had exceeded their expected service life; the board approved purchasing replacements from the Apple Store for Education.
Staff will schedule installation and deployment to ensure the ELOP/ASES programs have updated devices for the coming school year.
