SILO Public Schools board approves consent agenda including fund encumbrances and service contracts

At its Aug. 4 meeting the SILO Public Schools board approved a consent agenda covering July 14 minutes, General and Building Fund encumbrances (GF PO#50000-50188; BF PO#13–19), several contracts including A & J Custodial Services and a RAVE renewal, and student handbooks for 2025–26.
The SILO Public Schools Board approved the consent agenda at its regular meeting on Aug. 4, 2025, adopting minutes from the July 14 meeting and a range of fiscal and policy items. The General Fund encumbrances listed included GF PO#50000–50188 and PO range 63–103, several change orders, and Building Fund encumbrances including BF PO#13–19. The packet also included activity fund reports and transfers and the Treasurer’s Report.
The consent agenda further approved administrative items for the 2025–26 school year: the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology contract, the Local Advisory Committee for the Gifted & Talented Program and its policy, student handbooks, an A & J Custodial Services contract for 2025–26 and renewal of the RAVE service. Board Clerk Chris Cicio moved the motion to approve items A–L; Vice President Keith Eppler seconded. The minutes record affirmative votes associated with Cicio, Eppler and Gamble on the motion to approve the consent agenda.
