Several property owners appeared at the board’s May 14 meeting to appeal late rental‑registration fees for 2025. Owners said the lateness resulted from family issues, mailing errors, new ownership transitions or misplaced receipts; the board granted motions to waive late fees in each case and allowed owners to pay the remaining registration amounts immediately.
Owners who appeared included Frank and Mary Ravellas (4128 Grover and 842 Wilcox), Danielle Scully (7528 Oakdale), Adjo Apadon (7028 Kennedy) with Herve Quaffon, Alvaro Casanova (1659 Indianapolis Blvd), Glenn Barker (three properties), and Rosalu Haro (2741 New York Ave). Staff confirmed no prior appeals for these properties in most cases. The board approved motions to waive the late fees and noted owners could pay outstanding registration amounts at the conclusion of the meeting.
