"We were gonna start working on this project so that it could be done by August by school. But it doesn't look like it's going to happen that way, which is okay," the Chair said, noting the equipment is at Public Works and the committee is awaiting formal sign-off. Members said a likely site is the space between Bison and Trojan Way near Shaper Park, pending written confirmation from Dr. Blaylock and the school board.
Committee members agreed to remain patient and asked administration to provide a written timeline and slab-location confirmation so staff can schedule installation. The rec director was identified as the contact for moving the project forward.
