Board to assign members to run events and produce an end-of-year report

The board reviewed a proposed calendar of events to support next year and asked each member to volunteer to run at least one event to ensure coverage across the county. The idea is to have board members pick events in their districts and commit to coordinating logistics and outreach.
"It would be great if each 1 of us could agree to orchestrate 1 event," Jean Zepfo said. Members also supported producing an end-of-year, newsletter-style report summarizing FY25 accomplishments to support future budget requests and increase public visibility; staff offered to prepare graphics and place the report on the board web page once drafted.
