Executive Committee previews August board meeting agenda, flags contracts and PFAS update

The Executive Committee of the Lake Arrowhead Community Services District on Aug. 19 reviewed and confirmed items staff plans to place on the full board’s August agenda, General Manager Catherine Cerri said during the meeting. Consent-calendar items staff listed included approval of the July 23, 2024 board minutes, filing the Fiscal Year 2023–24 annual board and employee expense report, and acceptance of the H E Hammer portion of Corporation Yard Project No. 177 as complete.
Cerri also outlined departmental reports scheduled for the board: the Finance Manager will present FY 2023–24 financial statements and the cash and investment report for the quarter ended June 30, 2024; the Operations Manager will give the monthly operations report; staff will provide a PFAS update; and Cerri will present her General Manager’s report. Staff further identified action items for board consideration, including contract awards and procurement related to the Grass Valley Wastewater Treatment SCADA Room (Project No. 228) and the Manhole Inflow Reduction 2024 Project (Project No. 257). One member of the public attending online reported an audio problem during the review; staff attempted but were unable to restore the audio connection.
