Committee hears solar farm shutdown has cut town energy credits

This change contributed to higher-than-expected utility line items.
Linda told the committee the issue was discussed at the budget subcommittee and characterized as a stalemate involving the tenant (identified in meeting materials as Luminess) and Eversource over responsibility for mitigation of a safety concern. Committee members asked staff to follow up with more complete billing and contract information for Select Board consideration and the FY27 budget process.
