Commission hears updates on warehouses, hotels, apartments and regional climate plan

He reported that the Old Hill apartments are moving forward, with the lower‑tier units renting well and discussions underway about releasing the upper tier. Cooper also described the regional climate action and adaptation plan (RCAAP) environmental review that is out for public comment and noted staff will bring the plan back to the commission for adoption later.
Commissioners asked operational questions (for example, about permitted food trucks at a pumpkin‑patch location); Cooper said approvals had been given and staff could follow up on details. Vice Chair Shelby Goss adjourned the special meeting at 7:34 p.m.
