Starksboro planning commission tables town-plan revision pending document-formatting and schedules regional planning review

Commissioners briefly reviewed Section 3 of the Starksboro town plan and debated how best to update the document. Members noted the plan had been converted to Word but that present commissioners did not have a usable copy, making it unclear how easily the document can be formatted or edited. The commission discussed whether to hire a consultant or someone familiar with the Adobe source file to assist with revisions and decided to delay further action until the next meeting when options and a path forward can be confirmed.

Chair Dennis Casey also reported that Regional Planning requested a meeting on July 2 to discuss the municipal plan; the commission agreed to add that item to the top of the next agenda. Commissioners additionally made a brief status note about progress at the Jerusalem Schoolhouse during the roundtable portion of the meeting.
