The Selectboard handled several financial and procedural items during the June 16 meeting. Tony Porter moved and Eric Cota seconded a motion to sign a promissory note refinancing the 2024 Weston Star dump truck with the State of Vermont Municipal Revolving Loan Fund; the motion passed.
The board approved warrants for accounts payable and payroll after a motion by Eric Cota. They also approved Town Meeting minutes for 2026 and minutes from June 2. Separately, Tony Porter moved to cancel and reissue paychecks; Eric Cota seconded and the motion passed with Carin McCarthy abstaining. Members noted they would address raises at a special meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, pending Treasurer Ali T.'s responses to outstanding questions.
