Parent alleges teacher and athletic director bullied son; seeks help and summer-school accommodations

"My son had a plan to take his life," Freeman told the board. She said her son is now receiving counseling and she is asking that the district ensure he can attend summer-school classes without facing the teacher who she says contributed to the trauma. "The only thing I want is for my son to receive summer school," she said.
The board cannot respond during public comment; administrators said they would follow up outside the meeting. The speaker named specific staff contacts she said she had tried to reach and asked for a timely response and protections to avoid retraumatizing her child.
