Rio School District honors cadets, bus drivers and ACSA award winner

Assistant Superintendent Oscar Hernández and Principal Ms. Botello introduced a presentation by ASB and the Rio del Valle cadets; Cadet Denise Reyes told the board how much program leader Ken Tomimitsu has meant to students. "Cadet Reyes expressed how encouraging Mr. Tomimitsu has been and how he has dedicated himself to building a remarkable program," the minutes read.
Assistant Superintendent Rafael Gaeta presented certificates to district bus drivers. Bus driver Jeneen Minier described her routes and the difficulty and rewards of the work: "Jeneen Minier, bus driver #54, spoke on the various bus routes she navigates every day, highlighting both the challenges and rewards of her role." The board also recognized Veronica Rauschenberger after Tiffany Morse presented the ACSA award.
