Council reviews Big Annie Week designation, audit letter and summer outreach plans

During new business on May 13, trustees reviewed a proposed resolution to designate the week of June 17 as "Big Annie Week" to expand on the state's June 17 designation of "Big Annie Day." The auditor's engagement letter was discussed and would keep the same auditor at the same price as the prior year.
Staff announced outreach plans for the summer: a spring‑cleanup mailer will be sent, DPW pickups will occur more frequently during the event, and the Village will have a staffed table at the Farmers Market managed by trustees, board members and staff. Manager Megan Haselden said she will attend the UP Managers meeting and be out of the office May 29–30; no votes were recorded on these items at the session.
