Staff emphasized that the council did not want to delay adoption for the technical mapping correction and asked the commission to include the fix in the next amendment round. The staff update also noted the council asked the commission to "explore" whether the 100-foot separation rule in the Natural Resource Protection zoning needs adjustment; that request was framed as a study assignment rather than a mandate to change the code. The commission agreed to add the council's short-term requests to its work plan and to report back in the next amendment cycle.
