Anita Bonds, the at-large member of the Council of the District of Columbia and chair of the Committee on Executive Administration and Labor, convened a public roundtable on PR 26-304, the 2025 confirmation resolution for Karen Greenfield to the District of Columbia Board of Elections. "I'm calling together this public roundtable on PR 26 Dash 304," Bonds said as she opened the session.
Bonds said the roundtable was intended to give the public an opportunity to comment on Ms. Greenfield's nomination; she noted that Ms. Greenfield had previously appeared at an earlier roundtable. Bonds confirmed that one public witness had been scheduled but, after calling for speakers, said there were no public witnesses in attendance. "Recognizing that we do not have any public witnesses, I want to thank the team here at the council for working with me to move forward with this important, public roundtable this morning," she said.
Bonds told listeners they could still submit written testimony or comments to the council on the confirmation. "The matter will remain open until 5 P.M. on Friday, 11/28/2025," she said, providing a firm deadline for written submissions. The chair closed the roundtable within minutes and adjourned the session at about 9:35 a.m.
