Heritage Pines outlines Environmental Solutions' scope to clean NWRA‑33 wetland

"The task is for removal and disposal of several dead or dying bushes around the perimeter and wetland NWRA-33, specifically including the two dead oak and maple tree branches, southwest portion of the area, adjacent to water lilies," the read scope stated. The proposal notes crews will attempt to kill back vines by cutting at the water level and selectively using herbicide, and that some vines in the canopy cannot be eliminated but can be meaningfully knocked back.
District Manager Chuck Adams explained Environmental Solutions' approach emphasizes more handwork and selective treatment for aesthetic and targeted control, while A‑Z Tree Service's forestry mulcher approach grinds vegetation more aggressively; the board discussed both methods before approving a separate A‑Z stump‑grind for a resident‑reported hazard.
