Heritage Pines adopts amended FY 2023/24 budget to cover mower purchase; contingency increased

District Manager Chuck Adams presented Resolution 2025-02 to amend the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 budget to record a major expenditure for a new lawnmower, add columns showing Actual versus Adopted Budget and Proposed Increase/(Decrease), and increase the Operations and Maintenance — Contingencies line by $20,000. "It is necessary to amend the Fiscal Year 2024 budget to reflect the major expenditure related to the new lawnmower," the minutes state.
Ms. Lonergan said the district will receive a $1,298 refund from the Tax Collector’s Office reflecting differences between the actual and amended budget. On a motion by Mr. Walsh, seconded by Mr. Putman, with all in favor, the board adopted Resolution 2025-02.
