Staff reports: Paleo Park bench installed, mowing schedule adjusted, EDRA construction had permits

Staff reported the additional bench at Paleo Park (follow-up pending), mowing of retention areas was adjusted and Grounds Superintendent Tim Gatz confirmed a homeowner obtained required permits for a construction project that may require later erosion evaluation.
Chair Kathleen Lonergan asked whether the additional bench had been installed in Paleo Park; Grounds Superintendent Tim Gatz said he would ask Gary and follow up. Mr. Gatz also said mowing of various retention areas had been adjusted and that the district would take time to evaluate whether the changes are sufficient.
On the matter of a resident's construction encroaching on the EDRA, Gatz confirmed that the homeowner obtained all required permits and approvals and said the district would "have to wait until construction is completed to determine if any erosion issues arise." District Engineer Kurt Heath said he will stay in contact with Brian regarding the retention-area clean-up schedule.
