Council authorizes $25,000 in DPW equipment spending and approves new village secretary pay rate

Manager Megan Haselden described the hiring process for a new Village Secretary and said she selected Tara West; Haselden proposed a base hourly rate of $19.50 for both the current accounts clerk and the new hire. The council approved the $19.50 base pay rate by motion 4–0. The minutes do not record additional hiring paperwork or an effective start date for the new employee.
