Sutton awards sand bid to Simpson DirtWorx; highway equipment needs noted

After attempting to contact Gingue and receiving no response, the board voted to award the contract to Simpson DirtWorx.
Highway Foreman Shane Heath also flagged maintenance needs: rotting boards on Patoine’s bridge (possible tree cutting to increase sunlight), an estimated $4,000 in repairs for Corey’s plow truck, a $4,054.26 cost to move sand-screen posts for maintenance, and a backhoe that remains out for repair.
