The Sutton Select Board convened on May 29, 2025, approving the April 25 meeting minutes and the treasurer’s report. Chair Joe Solinsky called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.; Tim Simpson moved to approve the minutes and Denis Royer II seconded. Both motions passed.
The board adopted a revised Local Emergency Management Plan (LEMP) incorporating additions recommended by the Northeastern Vermont Development Association (NVDA) after a motion by Royer and a second by Simpson. The board also opened sand bids, ultimately awarding the 3,500-yard contract to Simpson DirtWorx. Several items were tabled for later meetings, including a nomination for a DRB/PC alternate, the proposed automated water-meter reading program, and a resident’s water-bill credit request. The meeting adjourned at 7:33 p.m.
