Economic Development Director Chelsey Kovar told council that FirstEnergy submitted pricing information for streetlights, which the city will discuss at a future meeting. Kovar said she is finalizing an RFP to secure and seal the Greenwood Farm barn and completing an RFP to launch a new Sidewalk Program. She also reported two businesses have proposed substantial expansion projects; the council scheduled a brief executive session with the city law director to discuss economic-development assistance related to those proposals.
The executive session was convened under Ohio Revised Code Section 3735-67 to consider business strategy, trade secrets and applicants' personal financial statements and to receive confidential legal advice. The executive session ran from 7:59 p.m. to 8:31 p.m., after which the council adjourned at 8:32 p.m.
