Council approves change orders and final payouts for road and sidewalk projects

The council also approved a final payout to PT Fair in the amount stated as $5,897.69 to close out their work. In addition, Change Order No. 1 was approved to add first-year sidewalk repairs to the deconstruction contract in an amount presented as $50,398, and Change Order No. 2 for Stacy Court was approved in the amount of $11,880 to address drainage issues. Council members discussed the comparative bids and noted the lower subcontractor price for Stacy Court compared with the prior estimate.
