Commission finds proposed Dutch Brothers and Chipotle project largely in compliance with redevelopment plan

Greg Lorig of DVG, the project's surveyor and civil engineer, presented the site plan and told the commission the developer proposes to split a 1.46‑acre lot into two parcels to accommodate a Dutch Brothers carryout drive‑through and a Chipotle restaurant.
Lorig said the project "will provide some significant economic growth for the area. Total expected investment is about $6,000,000 and the 2 businesses are proposed to create approximately 50 jobs." Commissioners voted to accept staff's recommendation that the commission find the development in compliance, clearing this step in the process while leaving technical approvals to future boards.
