The Chair introduced funding allocation #323 for a Downtown Hammond electronic message board site plan and said the city "received ready funds, to pay for a new electronic message board in Downtown Hammond." The proposed location is the southwest corner of Hohman and Sibley and the director of city planning requested the site plan; American Structure Point was selected because the firm already holds the site survey from the Hohman Avenue Phase 1 work. A motion to approve the site plan passed by roll call with four votes in favor.
Board members did not request changes to the funding amount at the meeting. The Chair explained choosing American Structure Point would reduce challenges because of the firm's existing survey material; the funding amount for the site plan was recorded as $4,250 in the agenda packet.
