Meyer also said four neighbor support letters were submitted to the record and that project plans keep height and other dimensions within town limits except where relief for an existing nonconforming setback is required.
Chair of the appeals board read recommended findings and conditions and noted that town departments — highway, fire, police and building/planning — had raised no objections. The board attached standard conditions requiring construction vehicles be parked on-site where possible and that egress and public rights-of-way not be blocked for the life of the approved project.
After reviewing the files and confirming the letters of support were in the record, the board moved, seconded and voted to approve the permit. The clerk read the decision into the record and the board confirmed the permit was issued with the stated conditions.
The decision notes that any relief not expressly granted is denied, and that any violation of the special-permit terms may be enforced under the referenced Howard zoning bylaws. No appeal or follow-up date was announced at the meeting.
