The board approved funding allocation #322 to Hawk Enterprises in the amount of $11,279.27 to repair lighting on Summer Street between Columbia and Indianapolis Boulevard after transient voltage caused component failure in the lighting cabinet.
The chair explained the damage was caused by transient voltage that passed through the service cabinet and that the repairs were not covered under warranty because they occurred after the one-year anniversary of the project's completion. The motion was moved by Councilman Salinas and seconded by Commissioner Muta; roll-call vote was 5-0 in favor.
