Sperry board convenes Aug. 29; quorum, motions and adjournment recorded

Mayor Robert Morton called the Town of Sperry special meeting to order at 6:01 PM on Aug. 29, 2024; Trustees Kelly Wensman, Robert Morton and Debra Burch were present and Vice Mayor Melody Anderson joined at 6:11 PM, giving the board a full membership for subsequent votes.
The minutes record procedural motions including a motion by Mayor Morton to address item #5 and the calling to order of the Sperry Utility Services Authority meeting. The Sperry Utility Services Authority adjourned at 6:54 PM. Later, Trustee Kelly Wensman made a motion, seconded by Trustee Debra Burch, to adjourn the board at 7:08 PM; that motion passed unanimously. The minutes were approved by the board on Sept. 12, 2024 and include signatures from Mayor Robert Morton, Vice Mayor Melody Anderson, Trustee Debra Burch and Trustee Kelly Wensman; an attorney signature block (Jeff N. Stephens, Attorney) appears on the approved form.
