The Select Board entered executive session under statutory authority to discuss the appointment/evaluation of a public official and to consider options for filling the vacant elected treasurer position. After returning, the Chair said the board "are just going to continue researching different potential avenues to put a treasurer in place, and we will come back at next meeting."
Earlier in the meeting board members had noted difficulty recruiting an interested candidate and said they have been coordinating with staff (Henrik) to ensure operations continue. The board committed to further outreach, possible reposting of the vacancy, and follow-up at the next scheduled meeting.
