During public comment Wendy McKenzie presented what she called the vehicle tag involved in multiple stops and said both she and her daughter were arrested. "She had been stopped three times in the past 2 weeks with that tag and ' she is afraid to stop for police and afraid to come home," McKenzie told the council, asking officials to address the situation.
Separately, Council member Timishea Price described having called in a sewer work order and said Public Works inspected the matter and initially attributed it to the house. Price said a plumber informed her the line had collapsed in the street and that another household had recorded sewer problems four years earlier; she raised the concern as a continuing infrastructure issue and sought staff follow-up.
No council action or formal findings were recorded during the public comment period; both matters were entered into the meeting record for staff follow-up.
