Council approves minutes and welcomes a wave of new city hires

Department leaders introduced the new hires and briefly summarized their backgrounds. Parks and Recreation staff said, "Sadie Collins comes to us in our park maintenance division," and described her prior seasonal work for South Jordan and other cities. Stormwater staff introduced Dayton Newell as the new stormwater inspection manager, and facilities staff introduced Charlie Hadden as a facility maintenance specialist with roofing experience. Council members and the mayor welcomed the employees and noted short-term onboarding plans.
