Richland board adopts instructional materials resolution and approves federal ConApp

The Richland Governing Board on Sept. 8 conducted the annual public hearing required by Education Code 60119 and adopted Resolution No. 2025-06 confirming that each pupil has sufficient textbooks or instructional materials for the 2025–26 school year.
Assistant Superintendent Sagasta opened the hearing, which was posted districtwide, and recorded no public comments. Following the hearing the board adopted the resolution by roll call vote, 5–0. The action preserves the district’s eligibility to receive state instructional-material funds.
Sagasta also presented the 2025–26 Consolidated Application (ConApp) identifying the federal programs for which the district is requesting funding and the public and private non-profit schools that plan to participate. The board approved the ConApp 5–0, a required step for receipt of specified federal dollars.
