Jonathan Redeker asked what contributed to the county’s employment gains; Lacey Trimble said partnerships with Employment and Training, job fairs and outreach helped, and that in December "22 recipients entered employment and the highest year end average since 2020."
Trimble said the county works with recipients to explore options and connect them to job fairs and training opportunities. Committee members acknowledged the improvement but also asked about supports for residents who may lose benefits as waivers expire.
