Tuohy described the chosen treatment approach as "Sequential Batching," a modular plan to increase capacity while working within the site footprint. He explained the plant has three 2-million-gallon trains (6 million total) and said the plan is to convert a 2-million-gallon train into a 7-million configuration to reach 9 million gallons, with the option to repeat the conversion for other trains when additional capacity is needed. Tuohy also said the committee is pursuing various grants to support the project.
