Board backs NUFFI’s Urban Farm Fair with $1,000 sponsorship

D. Cole moved to allocate $1,000 to sponsor the event; G. Stap seconded and the motion passed unanimously. “NUFFI is holding its 10th Annual Urban Farm Fair. This event is scheduled for April 25 from 12 pm to 4 pm at the Downing Park Urban Farm,” Hinsvark stated during her presentation.
Board members framed the sponsorship as a community outreach opportunity that supports local gardening and food‑security education. Staff were directed to notify NUFFI and arrange payment.
