Ag Board approves routine minutes, vendor invoice and small outreach allocations

The Orange County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board on Feb. 18 approved a series of routine administrative motions, including an amended acceptance of the January minutes and several small budget allocations.
J. MacLeod, Orange County Planning, told the board it had received an invoice for 2025 Cornell Cooperative Extension Farmer’s Gathering coupons totaling $191.15, noting the board had originally allocated $19 in the 2026 budget; S. Soons moved to allocate $191.15 to pay the invoice and the motion was unanimously approved. “The Ag Board received the invoice for the 2025 Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Farmer’s Gathering Coupons,” MacLeod said during the meeting.
Separately, the board voted to sponsor NUFFI’s Urban Farm Fair at the $1,000 level and approved $430 for kids art ads in three local Chronical newspapers. Both motions passed without recorded opposition. The board also accepted the January minutes with an added note clarifying a competitive application process for the O’Dell PDR item.
The motions taken at the meeting were procedural and budgetary; no new policies or land‑use decisions were adopted. The board adjourned at 9:11 p.m.
