The Townshend Select Board agreed to authorize a town official to sign a $48,000 Municipal Highway Stormwater Mitigation Program grant agreement, which requires a $12,000 town match. Grant coordinator Katie presented the award and asked for authorization for Nick to sign the agreement on the town’s behalf.
"We were awarded $48,000 and our match is $12,000," Katie said while summarizing the grant terms and the deadline to complete the work by May 2028. A member moved that Nick be authorized to sign the grant agreement for the award. The board approved that motion by voice vote with no objections recorded.
