Sheriff seeks Townshend’s sign-on for regional policing governance pilot under Act 104

The Chair emphasized this would be an introductory decision about participation in the governance pilot, not a commitment of funds. "So what sheriff Anderson is, requesting us to do is to have a vote before July 15... whether to join that regional, law enforcement governance council and appoint a member from the select board to that council," the Chair said when introducing the correspondence.
