UVM students delivered downtown transportation study; board to seek walk‑through

Grant coordinator Katie told the board that University of Vermont students completed a downtown transportation study as a capstone project and provided a cost analysis at no cost to the town. "We did get our downtown transportation study done by the UVM students. I have that study right here for anybody that wants to look at it," she said.
Board members asked whether the students or UVM-affiliated staff could present the findings; Katie said the semester is over but she will reach out to arrange a walk‑through or webinar for the board, planning commission and interested residents. The study covers sidewalks, crosswalks, parking, lighting and intersection design and provides short‑ and long‑term project cost projections that can be used in grant applications.
