District awaits recalibrated iLearn scores; state results due Sept. 1

Board members and staff discussed the state's decision to recalibrate iLearn scoring and the effect on accountability reporting. District testing staff said they are awaiting the recalibrated English and math iLearn scores and expect the state to release those results on Sept. 1.
"We'll we'll find out September 1 is when we'll get them," a district testing staff member said. Staff noted the district's AP results were strong and that the state also added more testing windows (including multiple attempts for some grades), which could change passing-rate dynamics. Board members and staff cautioned that the first round of recalibrated accountability results should be interpreted carefully while the state finalizes its methodology.
