Council approves Centra subdivision annexation and rezone to R1-DA, preserves historic home

Applicant Natalie Johnson presented the Centra subdivision plan for 9.6666 acres west of North Park Lane. The proposal rezones the parcel to R1‑DA and proposes eight single‑family lots, two common lots, preservation of a historic Tudor‑style home and a 50‑foot landscape buffer along Park Lane.
Planning staff said the application met R1‑DA setbacks and other code requirements; staff and the planning and zoning commission recommended approval with site‑specific conditions (including architectural preservation of the historic structure). Council moved, seconded and approved the annexation, rezone, development agreement and preliminary plat with the standard and site‑specific conditions presented.
