A board member told the Eagle Public Library board on Sept. 17 that the library foundation has begun outreach to local civic groups and is scheduling presentations to build support and partnerships.
The board member reported the foundation made a presentation to the Kiwanis Club and plans later presentations to the Rotary Club and other groups. The foundation is pursuing a holiday partnership with the Luxe Real Theater to share profits with a nonprofit and is exploring summer movie programming for children; the board member said a recent summer effort in Caldwell generated $25,000. “They made their 1st presentation, to the Kiwanis Club,” the board member said.
Board members welcomed the outreach and discussed potential fundraising opportunities; no board action was required at this meeting.
