The Board of Education of Independent School District No. 26 of Okfuskee County unanimously adopted a resolution on Dec. 1, 2025, authorizing issuance of General Obligation Combined Purpose Bonds of 2026 in the aggregate principal amount of $790,000. The board recorded that the resolution was adopted "upon motion by Robison, seconded by Colbert" and that the President signed and the Clerk attested the resolution.
The resolution designates the bonds "General Obligation Combined Purpose Bonds of 2026," dated Jan. 1, 2026, with scheduled principal maturities of $160,000 on Jan. 1, 2028; $210,000 on Jan. 1, 2029; $210,000 on Jan. 1, 2030; and $210,000 on Jan. 1, 2031, each bearing interest at 4.75 percent payable semiannually beginning July 1, 2027. The document states, "THE FULL FAITH, CREDIT AND RESOURCES of said District are hereby irrevocably pledged to the payment of this Bond." The resolution requires bonds to be payable by UMB Bank, n.a., Oklahoma City, as Registrar/Paying Agent and contemplates registration with The Depository Trust Company.
