The Watonga Board approved disposal of surplus items detailed in Attachment B and authorized the purchase of a school vehicle. The surplus list includes 104 desks, 184 chairs, 26 desk-chair combos, several small tables, five horseshoe tables, three blue wrestling mats and red lockers. The motion to declare items surplus was moved by Aaron Clewell and seconded by Shawn Cox; the vehicle purchase was later approved on a separate motion. Both actions passed 4–0.
The surplus declaration allows the district to remove or sell the listed items under district policy. The minutes do not list the purchase price or vendor for the approved vehicle; those procurement details will be handled by district business staff.
