The Okemah Board of Education on Nov. 10 approved a package of routine actions covering minutes, fund encumbrances, budget items and personnel contracts. The board voted 4–0 (with one member absent) to approve the consent agenda, which included the Oct. 13, 2025 minutes, General Fund encumbrances #158–163 and payments #1070–1543, Building Fund encumbrance #47 and payments #42–52, activity fund items and the treasurer's report. The consent motion was made by J.C. Haddox and seconded by Bert Robison.
The board also moved through related administrative decisions: it declared a listed set of items surplus, approved the 2025–2026 Title VI bylaws and adopted the district's Native American Policies and Procedures. Employee contracts listed on Attachment A and extra duty contracts listed on Attachment B for the 2025–2026 school year were approved by voice vote (motion by J.C. Haddox; second by Bert Robison).
