Residents urge council to block taller buildings, question park plan for contaminated OCF at Point Ruston

Letters included specific requests that the city enforce master‑plan height limits and that any park plan account for vehicle parking, private security needs and EPA oversight of the OCF. Those filing letters asked the council to weigh long‑term maintenance and policing costs and to avoid approving a design that places large event spaces or unrestricted access on the containment site.
