The Ruston City Council on Nov. 4 approved Resolution No. 815 to reappoint Mark Shingledecker to Planning Commission Position #4 for a full six-year term through June 30, 2031. The Mayor recommended the appointment as the position had been previously filled to complete an unexpired term that expired on June 30, 2025.
Councilmember Jennifer Jensen thanked Shingledecker for volunteering for another term and acknowledged the Planning Commission's role in city land-use review. The motion to adopt Resolution No. 815 passed unanimously, 5–0.
