Sheriff reports 480 calls in week; TIF payments and Rockwood improvements noted

In the finance-and-operations portion of the Nov. 6 meeting, Sheriff Dale Lancaster told commissioners patrol logged 480 calls for service in the past week and that there are four current openings at the county jail.
U/T Coordinator David Spencer said TIF payments had been received from both the Wind Tower project and the NECEC; he also confirmed installation of a new stove at the Rockwood Community Center. Chris Dostie, office manager for the District Attorney’s Office, reported two new hires and distribution of funds to victims via the unclaimed properties report. "Patrol had 480 calls for service in the past week," Lancaster said in the minutes.
No additional finance actions were taken beyond routine reporting during this segment.
